Our Approach to Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
What to expect
Your pelvic health physiotherapy session begins with a comprehensive assessment of your pelvic floor, pelvic girdle, low back, and hips. We will discuss your symptoms, medical history, and goals, and perform a hands-on and/or functional evaluation to identify underlying issues.
An optional internal exam is offered if consented to, which allows us to better assess pelvic floor function and provide more precise, personalized recommendations.
From there, you will receive a customized treatment plan, which may include:
Education on your condition and strategies for symptom management
Targeted exercises to strengthen and support your pelvic floor and core
Hands-on therapy to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function
We also provide guidance for returning to physical activity, sport, or daily movement, empowering you to move confidently and safely.
