FREE TUESDAY SOCIAL TRAIL RUNS ARE BACK!

For the months of September and October 2025, join MoveMed Physiotherapy every Tuesday evening for a casual, community-focused trail run at Knox Mountain

Where: Knox Mountain, meet at the bottom parking lot by the tennis courts
When: Tuesdays, 6:30 - 7:30 PM (leaving sharp at 6:30pm) *Please note the time change to 6:30pm for the fall
Distance: ~5 - 8 km, 200 - 300 m elevation
Who: Runners who can comfortably run for ~1 hour - friendly easy pace
Why: Movement is Medicine Let’s build community, move together, and have fun on the trails!

Come Run With Us!

Many of you know that over the past 2 years, we have been offering formal coached 10-week trail running clinics. We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received and for our running community!

For 2025, we’re like to try a different, more inclusive approach - free MoveMed social trail runs on Tuesday evenings at Knox Mountain!

What: Free casual paced social trail runs, ~5-8km with 200-300m elevation.

When: Every Tuesday, for September and October 2025, from 6:30 -7:30pm.

Where: Knox Mountain (different routes each week, but always meeting at the parking lot by the tennis courts).

Who: All paces welcome, however we do recommend being able to run for at least 1 hour if you plan to join us!

Why: To promote Movement as Medicine, keep our trail running community going and have fun together on the trails!

If you’re interested in joining us, simply meet us at the base of Knox Mountain in the parking lot by the tennis courts. We will leave at 6pm sharp!

10-Week Coached Trail Running Clinics - Coming Back Spring 2026

If you’re looking for a trail running group in Kelowna, you’ve come to the right place. Our 10-week program is designed to get participants to run at least 2 hours (~10-15km) on the trails. It includes 2 weekly group training sessions (Tuesday evenings + Sunday mornings) and a training program for individual runs. Plus, the educational videos built by our team of physiotherapists will help you reach your objectives in a smart way.

  • Learn and experience proper training periodization

  • Practice uphill and downhill

  • Improve your running form

  • Work on strengthening exercises to help you run safer and faster

  • Learn about trail running gear and footwear

  • Have fun with friends!

Tuesday sessions will always be at Knox Mountain from 6:15pm-7:15PM with a focus on skills & hills.

Sunday sessions will be easy pace longer runs starting at 8am, roughly 1-hour duration to start, and progressing to 2 hours by the end of the program. Location varies as we explore different trails around Kelowna.
