Jean-Francois (JF) Esculier graduated from the University of Ottawa's physiotherapy program in 2009. Since then, he has been treating individuals of all levels (recreational to professional and Olympic athletes) and people with a variety of sports injuries.

Being a clinician-researcher-educator and a runner helps him to provide the best care possible for your problem.

JF completed his Masters, PhD and post-doctoral fellowship on knee pain in runners, and obtained his Certificate of Sport Physiotherapy.

He is an active researcher interested in knee pain (patellofemoral pain, knee osteoarthritis), running biomechanics and running footwear. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, and the Past President of the BC Sport & Exercise Medicine Research Foundation.

JF has published over 65 research articles in scientific journals. He is frequently invited to teach and provide lectures at scientific conferences around the world.
